Seville Duck Store, Spain – Favorite Finds

If you are at all like me, you find joy in the little things. The quirky things. The things that are so random and unexpected that it makes you giggle. I found something like this in Seville, a favorite find of mine, and I’ve been dying to share it with you. 

Jimmy and I were on our way to the park when we came across this fabulous little shop. It isn’t like any other little shop. It’s yellow and yells, “QUACK!,” at you, really loud when you enter the front door. 

It’s a Rubber Duck Shop! 

Yes, a rubber duck shop.

The whole store is full of rubber ducks and that’s it. Shelves and shelves full of little ducks, all lined up perfectly in rows. You walk into the Sevilla Duck Store and all of these ducks are staring at you right in the face. 

Each duck is uniquely different than the next. Practically any theme you want, they have. There are rubber duck brides and rubber duck grooms. There are rubber ducks driving racecars and others wearing hospital nurse scrubs. There are rubber ducks disguised as pigs and snakes and snails. If you can dream up a rubber duck, it’s probably there, waiting for you to buy it and take it home as a souvenir.

The celebrity rubber duck section was my favorite part of the whole store. The Donald Trump duck was hilarious, and of course I noticed the Harry Potter duck being the Harry Potter fan that I am. And don't forget the Madonna duck with the two gold cones on the front! Each duck costs around €9.

Jimmy loved this shop. He couldn’t get enough. In fact, he was “quacking-up” laughing while looking at some of them. He threw a screaming tantrum when it was time to leave, and I questioned why I ever released him from his prison... I mean stroller, to view the ducks up close and touch them in the first place. Oh, life with a toddler.
